Is my live location shared publicly on the Live Map?
No—your location on the live map is visible only to you.
Are my pinned items (catch, fishing reports, spots, hazards) shared publicly?
No—your pinned items (catch, fishing reports, spots, hazards) are only shared publicly if you choose to make them public. Otherwise, you can keep them visible to yourself only.
Am I required to share my location?
No—you are not required to share your location, but some app features may be limited if you choose not to.

How can I delete my account?
Go to the user profile on the sidebar and select the support tab. The delete account section is located under the support tickets section.
Can I make my profile private?
You can make your account private by going to your User Settings and switching your User Profile to Private. Keep in mind that this only hides your profile—any pinned items you post publicly (that aren’t set to private) will still appear on the map, and your catches will still be visible in the catch feed.

What is Catch Plus (Catch+)?
It’s a subscription service that provides access to additional features of the app.
Why do you charge for the subscription?
We charge a subscription because we’re a community-built app, not a company with unlimited resources. The features we offer cost us to provide, such as access to data and API-powered tools, which come with real operating costs.
